This document outlines procedures for Law Enforcement to enforce the law (Law) concerning illegal drugs.
An illegal drug business is a business that sells illegal drugs.
Law enforcement should issue to the illegal drug business a warning to close operations. If the illegal drug business continues to operate after the period of time defined in the warning to close operations, law enforcement should forcibly shut down the illegal drug business and dispose of the illegal drug business's inventory. Illegal drugs recovered in the process should be destroyed.
The written warning to close operations should include the seal of the law enforcement officer's law enforcement agency and warn the illegal drug business that if the illegal drug business continues to operate after a certain amount of time, the law enforcement agency will forcibly shut down the illegal drug business and dispose of the illegal drug business's inventory. The warning to close operations should include a reminder to verify with the police officer's police department that the warning to close operations is legitimate.
The verbal warning to close operations should warn the illegal drug business that if the illegal drug business continues to operate after a certain amount of time, the illegal drug business will be forcibly shut down and the illegal drug business's inventory will be destroyed.
